 George Santos is a New York-based American politician. After trying unsuccessfully for the position two years prior, George Santos, a Republican, was elected in 2022 to represent New York's 3rd congressional district, which includes sections of northern Long Island and north-eastern Queens. Six weeks after his election, the New York Times and other news organisations discovered that most of Santos' autobiographical claims appear to be false, including statements about his origins, education, job, charitable activities, and property ownership.

Recently George Santos is being trolled for his statement expressed in "NY Post".  He indicated that everything he had written on his résumé about his work and degree was false. He is facing rising criticism from House Democrats, some of whom have called on him to resign, as well as from some Republicans, with at least one of his fellow incoming Republicans calling for an ethics investigation.
