 Jennifer Connelly was born on December 12, 1970, in New York City.  Jennifer Connelly's career began as a child model before making her acting debut in 1984 in Once Upon a Time in America. In 2002, Connelly won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Alicia Nash in Ron Howard's film A Beautiful Mind (2001).
