Shafaq Naaz news is currently trending after a Vasai court sentenced Shafaq's brother Sheezan Khan to four days in police custody. Falaq and Shafaq Naaz, the actresses' sisters, have issued an official statement urging that the media remain silent. In the statement, they also said that they have great faith in the Indian judiciary and will speak on the subject when the time comes.

Sheezan Khan, an actress, was arrested for allegedly aiding and abetting the suicide of his late co-star and ex-girlfriend Tunisha Sharma. However, the police claimed on Tuesday that he has continually changed his stories and has yet to provide a clear cause for his breakup with Tunisha. Tunisha Sharma passed away on December 24th. The actress apparently committed suicide on the set of her show, Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul. She hanged herself in her co-star Sheezan Khan's make-up area. Tunisha's mother reportedly blamed her daughter's murder on her Ali Baba co-star, Sheezan Khan.
